The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology (QCF) provides you with knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the human body including structure and functions of the skin, hair, nails, skeleton, muscles, nerves, circulatory and lymphatic systems, endocrine and respiratory systems, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. This knowledge allows identification of key factors of a healthy body. Common diseases and disorders are included in order to identify conditions which might restrict or contraindicate complementary therapy treatments, and to assist in planning the most appropriate treatment.
This qualification can lead to further learning of anatomy, physiology and pathology. It can be the underpinning knowledge for complementary therapy qualifications and can lead to other learning, foundation degrees and degrees.
