Dietary advice
Take vitamin B1, present in wholegrain foods
Eat aniseed and plenty of vegetables
Drink warm milk be fore going to bed (If you suffer from lactose intolerance do not drink milk)
Eating Cherries may help ease mental fatigue and stress.
Drink a cup of sweetened tomato juice with nutmeg about 1-2 hours before dinner this will help you sleep well.

Stick to a daily routine
Regular exercise
Meditate lying in bed
Follow Ayurvedic breathing exercise (breathe slowly and deeply)
Yoga Asanas (Cobra and Corpse)

HOME REMEDIES
Apply a fine paste made of nutmeg powder mixed with an equal amount of ghee around your eyes and on your forehead before bed to help you fall asleep.
Before getting into bed, massage your scalp and feet for a few minutes with sesame oil, ghee, or olive oil, or cow’s milk (Add camphor during summer days) then wipe off with a cool cloth.
Take the following herbs with water or milk thrice daily: Brahmi (Bacopa Monrnera) 500mg, Vacha 500mg, Amala 1m
