Since qualifying in 1990 as a Counsellor, Katy Meaby worked in a variety of settings, gaining valuable experience with people from all walks of life. In 1997, she set up her Company, Eureka, "Promoting Positive Well-being" . She first started counselling people recovering from the pain of separation and divorce, and gradually began to expand into other areas, such as emotional well-being, PTSD, loss and grief work, bereavement, depression, and anxiety and panic attacks. Some of her clients have included The Prison Service, The Environment Agency, British Gas, Waterstones, Siemens, Abbey, and GlaxoSmithKline. Recently, Katy has introduced her new development Programme, which is designed to work alongside her traditional therapy, but can also be utilised as a stand-alone Programme. The Programme has been designed to enhance the lives of her clients, both in the workplace, and at home. It is relevant to adults in all walks of life, and can be tailored to the needs of children and teenagers, if required. Anyone who wants to feel better about themselves and to take more control in their lives would benefit from this Programme. Eureka offers a unique combination of practical solutions and techniques, counselling and therapy to help clients focus on their goals, see the bigger picture, and ultimately lead richer and more fulfilling lives. Clients expect a personal but professional service, together with a warm, friendly, human touch, and that is what you get from Eureka.
