The Complementary Healing Association, C.H.A. is a UK National Charity (which now incorporates the Aromatherapy Health and Beauty Association) and was founded by it's President JoAnn Bailey in 1965. The C.H.A. encompasses Alternative Therapies and Training to provide alternative care to all those in need, regardless of race, colour, creed or status. The C.H.A. is an Entirely Voluntary organisation committed to helping to aid "the relief of sickness, suffering and stress of persons, to those in need, by the provision of Complementary and Natural Health Care." The C.H.A. relies solely on donations for all its funding and, as such, all donations will be used solely for the benefit of the charity. The C.H.A. endeavours to work closely with, and not instead of, Mainstream Medicine.
