THERMO-AURICULAR®ASSOCIATION Aims & Objectives  

 

• To establish guidelines for a common standard of training, and to ensure that tutors registered with the association provide appropriate standards of professional teaching, practice and conduct. 
• To promote the responsible use of Ear Candles. 
• To initiate, support or verify research into any branches of information, which are applicable and helpful to the continued availability of Ear Candles. 
• To act as the lead body representing the welfare of therapists and suppliers of Ear Candles.

Full Membership Criteria will only be offered to Therapists that complete the training as offered by the originators or their appointed representative and are now eligible to use the letters T.A.Th. Associate membership will be offered to a student that has proof of attending an alternative course and where members of the association have approved the syllabus. FULL Members – Will automatically have their names entered onto the REGISTER OF QUALIFIED THERAPIST’S which the association holds. Each therapist will be given the opportunity to have their name, town, post code, telephone & e-mail address advertised on the web site at no cost on receipt of written permission as in accordance with the data protection act. They will receive a newsletter four times a year. Members may purchase an enamelled badge of the logo. ASSOCIATE Members – Will be offered the opportunity to upgrade their membership by attending an approved course at a reduced fee. Members will receive a newsletter four times a year. OTHER – Non qualified people who may wish to subscribe as a “Friend” may make a donation of their choice to help in the promotion and advancement of the therapy and the association.
