Susan Findlay brings new meaning to Soft Tissue Release and demonstrates how to use Passive, Active, Resisted and Transverse techniques in order to make the most challenging situations simple, easy and effective.

This one-day workshop will improve, extend and add on a new skill to your growing repertoire of massage techniques. Soft Tissue Release is used to relieve chronic tissue congestion, improve muscle elasticity and increase muscle length.

STR is a combination of movement and manipulation by locking into the relevant tissues, while simultaneously stretching fascial and/or muscle fibres. Easily applied to all the major muscles of the body, making this an extremely valuable massage technique for any therapist. Soft tissue release is versatile and can be extended to use through clothing or in a seated position.
