During more than 12 years of experience as an individual, couples, family and group therapist, I have been privileged to witness my clients' strength, resilience and progress. They have taught me that it is our relationship during the therapeutic process that is most valuable. I am experienced with a variety of effective therapeutic techniques. As a result of a consultative approach with my client, I utilize the one(s) that will best satisfy my clients' therapeutic goals and objectives. I strongly believe in the mind-body connection and in the healing role of stress reduction and emotional self-care.
My therapeutic style is based on unconditional acceptance of my clients and building a trusting relationship so that healing can take place. I approach my clients with the goal of helping them balance the different areas of their lives as well as identifying strengths that will assist them with reaching their goals.
My therapeutic uniqueness is based on my specialization in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety and a variety of other potent issues utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy. I am adept at assessing my clients' needs based on the mind-body connection.
