Association Info
The ADP provides employment advice, information and peer support for disabled people and their advisors or friends. Many members also give advice based on their particular education and employment experiences and we have an established Network List through which members are able to provide support to each other. We also work with other organizations to provide information about issues relating to education and training, as well as in the transition from education to employment.
We seek to ensure that legislation takes full account of the needs and aspirations of disabled people. We believe that this work has been one of the key factors that has helped us to be successful in promoting the rights of all disabled people to experience choice and inclusion, regardless of their impairment. The ADP works with disabled people and with statutory, voluntary and commercial sector organizations to promote the fundamental rights of all disabled people.
