The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) is the UK’s leading baby charity working to prevent sudden infant deaths and promote baby health. FSID supports bereaved families, funds research (over £9 million to date) and offers health and baby care advice to parents, carers and professionals.
FSID offers:
• A Helpline, 0870 787 0554, staffed by trained advisors, available to anyone affected by or concerned about sudden infant death.
• A wide range of publications, resources and events for parents and health professionals
• A network of trained 'befrienders' to support bereaved families
• The Care of the Next Infant (CONI) scheme, which supports bereaved families with subsequent babies
