INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

Indian Head Massage is an extremely popular therapy that has evolved from traditional techniques. It originates from Kerala, Southern India and has been practised for over a thousand years. Stress affects major muscle groups. This massage works on specific areas of the body, i.e. the head, neck and the shoulders where stress and tension accumulate. It targets the areas of tension, and may often bring immediate relief. Tensions are eased and fibrous knotsdissolve away. The circulatory and lymphatic systems willimprove, toxins are dispersed from tense muscles, and flexibility and fluidity of movement is restored, along with the bodies natural equilibrium.  You will be able to offer a relaxing and soothing Indian Head Massage as an individual treatment, or incorporate it into existing therapies. Indian Head Massage is always given with the recipient remaining clothed and comfortably seated on a chair. Traditional Indian Oil is used for the head and hair massage. No special equipment is necessary. The massage takes approximately 30 minutes

TIME: Please arrive around 9.45am for a 10am start. expect to finish 4.30pm

CLOTHING: Please wear loose, casual clothing as you will be expected to both give and receive the massage

WHAT TO BRING: Your lunch and a large towel for your own use.

WHAT IS INCLUDED: Equipment used during the day, course manual, handouts as applicable, Practitioners Diploma, refreshments.

FEES: Please telephone to enquire about flexible payments. You can attend more than one course pay in instalments to suit yourself. The criteria being that each course must be paid in full on or before the commencement of the course.

When a place has been confirmed, the booking fee is non-refundable.

Fees will only be refunded if the course is full, or in the unlikely event that the course / workshop is cancelled.
