Onsite chair massage has been one of the fastest growing and most visible parts of the massage field over the last 20 years. Many employers and institutions have begun to recognize the benefits of massage, and have used this accessible form of massage as a benefit for their employees. Onsite chair massage has also increased public recognition of massage and bodywork, and can be seen in many public places such as grocery stores, malls, farmers markets, airports, street fairs - just about anywhere where there is a large public gathering. For many people, this form of massage may be an introduction to the great pleasure of receiving hands-on work from a skilled professional, and to all of the benefits that massage therapy can bring to their lives. In addition to learning hands-on chair massage skills, there will be discussion of possible chair massage venues, setting your rates, logistics and supplies for onsite work, intake, and general communication about the benefits of massage therapy.
