MCS Flower Essence Practitioner Course 

 PLEASE NOTE:

These courses are NOT dependant on any particular commercial range of flower or vibrational essences.

You will be provided with essences from at least four different sources for exploration during the course.

Foundation Course

1. What are Essences? Introduction to the course, History of essences, Introduction to the Bach Flower Remedies (DVD), Essences provided- 12 Healers of the Bach range (Healing Herbs).

2. Working with Essences Using essences with friends and family, Looking after your own energies. Developing sensitivity, The BFVEA Code of Conduct, Health & Safety issues, Dowsing. A selection of essences from the Bailey range

3. Chakras & Subtle Energies Cultural and historical ideas about chakras, Correspondences of the chakras. Visualisation and meditation techniques (audio), Methods of making essences. Light Essences from the Green Man range, Sovereignty Essences.

4. Meridians and Elements Exploration of theories of the Chinese 5 Element Theory and the Meridian system. Using essences and meridians, Self-testing techniques, Traditional 4 Element theory and its relationship to plants and people. Historical uses of plants in healing. Making environmental essences, Forest Essences from Green Man range and Australian Bush Flower Essences

5. Anatomy and Physiology-This is a course in its own right and comes as a manual and CDROM

Fees:

The Registration fee is £25. The fee for module 1 is £50. Modules 2-4 cost £50 each

Each Module is released when the previous one is complete. Module 5 costs £75

Upgrading the Foundation to a Diploma

You will need to do 2 days of tutor-led study to upgrade the Foundation to a Diploma. The exact cost depends on venue, but usually £50-£75 per day

Day 1. Making Flower Essences

Practice of making flower essences; Assessment techniques and case management, listening skills

Day 2. Plant Spirit Healing

Introduction to the concept and practice of Plant Spirit Healing.

British Flower and Vibrational Essences Association Compliance

Successful students who want to join the BFVEA as practitioners direct from the course will need to send the BFVEA a copy of their insurance as well as a copy of the MCS Diploma.

If you are a therapist already, you might be entitled to ‘Accredited Prior Learning' for some of the modules, making the course shorter and cheaper. Please ask for details.
