Notes: Course consists of 30 lessons, 2 mid-terms and a final exam. CD-Rom of course materials also provided. This course is also available in Spanish with Spanish speaking tutors. Syllabus: History, principles and philosophy of homeopathy; including the Law of Similars, potentization, minimum dose, Hering’s Law of Cure and the Organon. Homeopathic pharmacy; including potentization, trituration, Avogadro’s hypothesis, quality of homeopathic medicines, nomenclature, medication techniques, sources of remedies, classification of medicines, nosodes, sarcodes and isodes. Homeopathic Materia Medica; including polycrest and smaller remedies. Acute and chronic diseases; including miasms and Hahnemann’s Theory of Chronic Diseases. Case taking, repertorization and prescribing of homeopathic remedies; including potency selection, constitutional prescribing, case histories and use of computers. Homeopathic research and development. Homeotherapeutics and related therapies; including organotherapy, litho therapy, Bach Flower remedies, tissue salts and various remedies.
