Prerequisite: General Diploma of Homeopathy or proof of prior Homeopathic studies

Duration: 70 hours. Normally takes 3-6 months

Award: Certificate of Completion

Notes: The course covers the homeopathic approach to pregnancy, childbirth and post partum care of the new born. The course consists of 5 written sections and a test after each section.

Syllabus:   A healthy pregnancy: includes nutrition, tissue salt program and homeopathic remedies for morning sickness. Sustaining the pregnancy: includes miscarriage or termination if necessary. Second and third trimester: includes varicosity, constipation and backache, pre-eclampsia, false and premature labor. Birthing the baby: includes preparing for labor, cesarean birth, the basic birthing kit and stages of labor. The post partum: includes breastfeeding, postnatal depression and renewal of cycles. The newborn: includes asphyxiation, birth trauma, vomiting and colic.
