Nutrition for Healthcare Practitioners (Postgraduate Diploma or Masters Degree)

This course has been designed specifically for healthcare professionals running busy practices. A totally unique course that not only provides a thorough grounding in conventional nutritional theory but also looks at differing nutritional perspectives of traditional medicine, focusing particularly on nutrition in Chinese medicine. On the Masters programme you will have the opportunity to follow a line of research to develop a clinical specialism within your practice.

Entry: degree or degree-equivalent qualification in conventional or complementary medicine.

Length of study: 1 year part time, extra 1 year for MSc
Mode of study: Tuesdays in year 1 + Fridays in year 2
Point of entry: September
Attendance: 1 day a week for 37 weeks(PGDip), 9 days over 1 year (MSc)

Course description:

Qualifications:
Year One:
Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition (PGDip), awarded by the University of East London
Eligibility for membership of the British Association for Nutritional Therapy, a professional body approved by the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC)

Year Two:
Masters degree in Nutrition (MSc), awarded by the University of East London

Our programme in Nutrition for Healthcare Practitioners is validated by the University of East London as a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) and Masters Degree (MSc).
