Daoyin Tao

Daoyin Tao is a post graduate Masssage course.  It is a Chinese shoulder, neck, ear, scalp and face massage, which uses a blend of Eastern acupressure techniques and Western effleurage movements.

Prerequisites for the course are; anatomy and physiology and a body therapy, though this doesn't have to be massage, reflexology for example would suffice.

The course runs for three days, two consecutive days then a gap of a month to allow time to learn acupressure points and the techniques taught, as well as to complete 4 X 4 case histories.

The course is predominatly practical based.  A five element course can be attended at a different time if desired, to cover the theory behind the therapy though this is not compulsary. 

The course is fun, practical and interesting, ultimately providing you with a new therapy to add to your skills without the stress of too much theory or exams. Case histories will be reviewed on the third day and an internal assessment of practical skills will be carried out to give you the confidence to practise your new found skills.
