• A study of 42 essential oils
• Extraction, countries of origin, therapeutic properties, use care and storage of essential oils, resins and absolutes
• Anatomy & Physiology of olfactory system
• Routes into the body for essential oils
• Blending and percentage guidelines
• Simple Chemistry of oils
• Skin care
• Face and Body Massage with essential oils
• Treatment of specific diseases and disorders
• Holistic consultation and the therapeutic relationship
• Stress management
• Introduction to other therapies
• Counselling skills
• Importance of nutrition
• Small business management/promotion.
• Professional presentation
• Code of Ethics and Practice

You will need an  anatomy and physiology qualification to do this course

Some students study for both qualifications at the same timewith us

The course will include project work and case studies

A first aid certificate must be obtained from a recognised body before the end of the professional course. Jackie can organise this with the Red Cross at a cost of only £30.
