Massage In Pregnancy (One Day) ITEC

This is an intensive, one-day course designed to expand your knowledge and understanding of women's experiences during pregnancy. The practical element of this course focuses on adapting your massage skills to the changing anatomy and physiology of the body and how to deal with muscular aches and pains specific to pregnancy. The course also covers contra-indications, infertility, labour, and natural ways to help the variety of problems that may be experienced during pregnancy. In order to take part in this course, you myst already have acquired the Holistic Therapies or Anatomy and Physiology and Theraputic Massage Diploma or a similar accreditation. One the day each person taking the course must provide their own large bath sheet, bath towel and massage oil. Each student should also arrange for someone who is ober 6 months pregnant to come along and be massaged. 3:00pm onwards. Completion of the course gains a certificate of attendance issed by St Mary's college and 5 CPD points from ITEC (CPD = Continual Professional Development).
