BioCare Reduced Glutathione

Reduced Glutathione is the reduced form of the amino acid glutathione. In the reduced form it is biologically more active.

Glutathione (GSH) is composed of three amino acids; glycine, glutamic acid and cysteine. GSH is found at very high concentrations in the lens of the eye. GSH is essential for the formation of glutathione peroxidase, a potent antioxidant enzyme that protects the lipid membranes of cells and tissues from free radicals.
