At Yo San University, we teach Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including tai chi and qigong, and operate a professional community Acupuncture Clinic. Our mission is to help students cultivate their own energy, achieve and maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit, and lead happier, more balanced lives.
Yo San's Accredited Master's Program in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (MATCM) has a reputation as one of the finest, most academically rigorous in North America. Yo San graduates consistently achieve among the highest pass rates of all acupuncture schools on the California Licensing Exam.
Our Community Acupuncture and TCM Clinic on the west side of Los Angeles is the focal point for our traditional Chinese Medicine training. It is comfortable, well equipped, staffed by caring and knowledgeable professionals and students, and open to all. We provide low-cost acupuncture treatment by senior interns, who treat under the expert supervision of Yo San's distinguished Clinical Faculty of licensed acupuncturists. You may also see one of Yo San's own highly-qualified, licensed acupuncturists who conduct their practice within our school.
With Yo San University Master's Program you will learn in an intimate, supportive environment dedicated to academic excellence.
Creating an educational environment where students can satisfy their desire for spiritual and medical knowledge is the essence of Yo San's legacy. Yo San students crave quality instruction and enjoy a lively exchange of ideas with their professors.
The education at Yo San is field based, problem oriented, and guided by the Taoist philosophy of balance and harmony. Classes are small, fostering an intimate, personal learning experience. Our faculty is committed to academic excellence, sets high standards, and is determined to provide you with an education that is at once intellectually stimulating and relevant in today's modern health care environment.
