The New Zealand Governments National Diploma in Kinesiology is a course 20 years ahead of its time. It offers the most comprehensive, integrated, holistic and complete system of kinesiology training in the world through ICPKP accredited colleges. Training is of the highest educational standards - University level. The course is normally taught over 4 years full time however for the UK we have split the course into 3 levels of semi full time training. The UK 1 Year Certificate - provides over 1,000 hours of training and allows graduates to register as professionals with The British Register of Complementary Practitioners (MBRCP). Graduates then start their practice. On completion of the Certificate, graduates may if they wish continue on to the University level Diploma courses. In the UK, the Diploma constitutes a further 2 years of training. At the end of the Advanced Diploma (registration year) successful graduates are eligible to register with the prestigious KPAB and use the letters RK(UK) after their names For more information about the course please go to http://www.icpkp.com - head office in New Zealand. What sort of people make good ICPKP kinesiologists? People who possess a range of personal attributes and skills gained from a wide range of different life experiences; mature students are welcomed. People who are able to develop high levels of manual and palpatory skills, sensitivity and professionalism. We want people who are interested in helping others become the best they can be. We offer a number of interest days throughout the year - please see our website for dates. This is a good opportunity to meet some of the faculty, learn a few useful techniques and see if you think kinesiology is for you. We also run 1 and 2 day K-Power workshops on a number of kinesiology and health related subjects. Some are suitable for beginners, some are only suitable as continuing professional development for practitioners in other fields. The Principal of the British Kinesiology Centre is Sue Hall, is one of the most highly qualified and experienced Professional Kinesiology Practitioners in the world today. Sue is also a gifted and well qualified teacher (MA Ed) and is currently reading for a PhD in kinesiology research. Please call us for further information about any of our courses - we look forward to hearing from you. These details were last updated on: 13 January 2009
