Primal therapyThis extensive course will identify and explore Primal-oriented therapies, and is designed to be an adjunct to counselling and psychotherapy courses. However, it is also suitable to be studied alone. Freud first used the term ‘primal’ in 1987, crediting his teacher, Joseph Breuer with the distinction between free, mobile or primal processes and tonic, bound or secondary processes. This course will teach you how to access the primal realm of your client or yourself and how to release primal energies or trauma for successful therapy, among other skills listed under 'More Information'
