Eating Disorders
Eating disorders, and those who suffer from them, remain relatively misunderstood today due to inconclusive research data, and poor media/cultural representations. This course provides a framework for understanding eating disorders and aims to equip the student with valuable insight into the potential causes of eating disorders, how eating disorders are diagnosed through the DSM-IV manual criteria and the myths associated with this mental illness. In addition, this Course also teaches the student skills in recognising signs and symptoms of eating disorders in others, as well as advice in assisting those in a treatment process, and specifically discusses anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder.
On average health and harmony courses range between $300-$600.Easy payment plan are available.
