Every woman has their doubts about their body. They are usually their biggest critics and no matter how beautiful you tell your wife or significant other they are, they will often times see something different when they look in the mirror. However, with the right choices, they can help to enhance their appearance to curb some of the negative features they think they see.

EXERCISE AND EAT HEALTHY
Kind of goes without saying, right? If you are unhappy with your appearance, the most logical thing to do is start moving around more and quit eating like an idiot. The last part may be a little harsh, but it is true. If you’re eating fast food multiple times per week and living a pretty sedentary lifestyle, you aren’t going to be happy. You’re also going to be very unhealthy and bring on avoidable health risks. Just try it for a couple of days, you’ll be amazed at the results.

DRESS FOR SUCCESS
Many times, people will sit and look at their closet full of beautiful clothes…that don’t fit. The thought process usually leans toward “I’ll lose this weight and then I’ll fit in those clothes”. However, this thought process also leads to you wearing the same clothing over and over again. Often times, these outfits are not flattering on you and don’t make you feel beautiful, which is a shame. Spend the money to up your wardrobe. You can get a few new tops, or even go for something under your clothes that supports you and makes you feel more confident.

MAKE PEACE WITH YOUR INNER SELF
Sounds pretty zen-like right? I’m not suggesting an eat, pray, love type of situation, but it doesn’t hurt to expand your horizons. There are a lot of books out there that will help guide you through the rocky terrain of self worth and the thought processes behind acceptance and body image. One such book that may help you on your journey is Molecules of Emotion by Dr. Deepak Chopra which examines how our thoughts can affect our health. Often, the first step toward fixing a problem is understanding what is causing the problem in the first place.

Good luck on your quest and one of the easiest and simplest things you can do first is talk to someone. If you’ve come across this article through a search, you are already reaching out.
