For the past 18 months I have been volunteering my services as a Reflexologist, with disadvantaged children. The benefits to them is wonderful and I would recommend that all parents and families take their children to visit a Reflexologist from as young as a baby. From a holistic point of view, any traumas experienced by a child or person can cause an imbalance within the body and if not treated can create unnecessary discomforts. It is these discomforts that a Reflexologist will look for to get to the basic cause of any illness within and start the healing process through the reflexes of the feet, hands or ears.

With that in mind, parents should be encouraged to take their children to a Reflexologist from a young age.  For the children I have worked with, I always encourage them to learn about the Reflexology I am giving them and this has shown great results.  The positive change in behaviours and movements of these disabled children and there being a definite calmness amongst them. Apparently they have also been working Reflexology with each other and their families.  The healing benefits of Reflexology have been proved many times and most importantly it brings a healthy balance which encourages healthy eating, exercise and respect for your mind and body.
