One might wonder what is the need to drink that extra glass of water during monsoon. The answer is that during the rainy season the sweat takes extra time to evaporate from the body due to the high humidity levels which causes problem in releasing heat from the body. It is best advised to have plane drinking water rather than having carbonated drinks as they reduce minerals levels and interfere with acidic balance in the stomach therefore making the digestive system weak.

Eat vegetable like bitter gourd,  take capsules of haldi and neem which have antioxidant properties and are effective in improving the immunity levels of the body.

Fruits like bananas, apples, pears and vegetables like carrots are also good for keeping your immunity levels in top notch condition and your digestive system fine.
