Hair loss is one such condition which is faced by almost every person at some point in their life. No one wants a bald head so it is no surprise that people are always on the lookout for ways to prevent hair loss or grow new hair. In this article let us discuss about the causes and alternative form of treatment through which hair loss can be prevented and new hair can be grown.

Causes Of Hair Loss
In today’s world people live a very sedentary lifestyle which coupled with the changing weather conditions put a great stress on their system to remain fit and healthy. Long working hours and lack of sleep have many adverse side effects the first one being loss of hair as well as premature graying.

Other factors which can contribute to a receding hairline include depression, side effects of some medications, using strong shampoos which make the hair weak and make them fall out over a period of time as well as an unhealthy diet. All these factors greatly contribute to premature hair fall.

Remedies
The most important step to prevent hair fall is to start the treatment as soon as possible so that the damage is minimal. Let us lay out some of the things you can do at home to make your hair healthy and strong.

1.Oil
It is the simplest way to make hair strong. You can apply olive oil or coconut oil; both of them provide desired nourishment to hair.

2. Herbs
There are certain herbs which help in reducing the DHT levels in the body which is the main cause of falling hair. Some of the most popular herbs used to combat hair fall include ginkgo, saw palmetto (it is also used in treating an enlarged prostate) and gotu kula.

3. Water
Try to wash your hair with filtered water rather than tap water because generally tap water contains chlorine which can weaken the hair follicles.
