The fact about this article is about potential health and benefits of regarding nutrition that is obtained from wine both white and red. Information about vitamin, calories amount of alcohol can also be found if you use to consume wine.

In reality, most people do not think about the benefits of drinking wine. They just consume wine to obtain some pleasure and to show their class without knowing the fact that consumption of wine has certain health benefits to.

Various types of beneficial Vitamins and Minerals that are obtained from consuming wine

To that extent, wine does not contain that amount of vitamin that is enough for health but to an average, it contains a certain amount which will be surely beneficial to you.

For example, a glass of wine contains Vitamin K – 1%, Thiamin – 1%, Niacin – 2%, Riboflavin – 3%, Vitamin K – 4% all of these are essential vitamins that are required by our body.

If we talk about minerals it contains Calcium – 1%, Copper – 1%, Zinc – 1%, Phosphorous – 3%, Iron – 4%, Magnesium – 4%, Manganese – 10%, and Potassium – 5%. As you know these are also the most important minerals that our body needs.

In the case of white wine, it is slightly different. The amount of carbohydrate present is lower in white wine in comparison to red wine. On average you can say that a glass of white wine contains 2.6 times of carbohydrates and the rest of the vitamins and minerals are the same as compared to red wine with the more or less same percentage. But in the case of white wine, you can also find some traces of Vitamin B6, B2 which are not present in red wine.

Red Wine – Other Benefits

Besides all the vitamins and minerals that are mentioned above red wine also contains Antioxidants, Polyphenols, etc.

Cancer can be prevented by Antioxidants. Besides cancer, it also helps to prevent heart disease and helps to lower the cholesterol level which simultaneously is beneficial for your arteries.

If we say about polyphenols they help in coating our blood vessels which is a huge source of protection for our heart.

Flavonoids that are present in red wine are beneficial because they contain some of the enzymes that are produced during the fermentation process which help to reduce carcinogens which prohibits the growth of tumor in our body.

Content of Alcohol in Red Wine

There are two types of red wine, one is Dry red wine and the other is Red wine which is blended with spirits. Dry red wines contain 12 to 16% alcohol and even more in certain regions.

In the case of Wet or diluted red wines, the value goes up to 18 to 20%.

 

White Wine – Benefits

In white wine not only the vitamins and minerals that we mentioned above are present but also it contains much of it with water which is good for our health. The remaining part of white wine contains a certain amount of carbohydrates and alcohol.

Calories present in white wine vary with the type of wine it is.  Dry White wine contains a sugar level of less than 3% but vary a little bit in case of diluted white wine. In other word you can say white wine contain 20 to 150 gram of sugar in a liter.

Content of Alcohol in White Wine

 Level of alcohol in case of dry white wine varies to a great extent depending on the region or country where it is produced. In some region, it contains 13 – 15% and in some regions, it contains 12 – 14% alcohol depending on the labeling law of the country. This law can vary up to a value of 1.5% from region to region or you can say country to country.

The content of alcohol in case of sweet white wine is considerably lower as compared to dry white wine. It varies from 12.5 – 14%. For example, Essencia which is a sweet white wine contains less alcohol as most of it is released during the process of fermentation.

So these are the health benefits that are obtained by the consumption of wines. All that kind of wine can be obtained in yarra valley lunch which will definitely be beneficial for your health.
