When you're growing hair naturally, it's only natural to want to use natural methods to keep it healthy and beautiful. We've done some of the hard work for you! Here you'll find 5 tips to keep your hair naturally beautiful and healthy.

Don’t Wash Over Your Hair

You may think clean hair is healthy hair. That is true, to an extent. There is such a thing as "over-clean" hair though. Over washing your hair can leave it brittle and void of natural oils. Thus, causing it to break and split easily. Instead of washing your hair everyday, try washing it every other day or even every third day. Not only will your hair thank you, but you'll thank us for one less chore you have to do every single day!

Rinse Your Hair With Beer

Before you think about drinking that beer, think about rinsing your hair with it first. A beer rinse is an amazing and natural way to get shiny, healthy, and much fuller hair. Not only that, it's packed with hair friendly vitamins and nutrients. In addition to beers B vitamins, the proteins it contains can repair damaged hair. The maltose and sucrose sugars in beer actually tighten the hairs cuticles, making your hair shine. It's suggested to shampoo, condition, and rinse as usual. Then, take a room temperature beer and pour over hair. Work beer into your hair from root to tip and then rinse.

Use Seaseme Or Olive Oil

If your hair is extremely dry with excessive split ends, try this method. It's a natural sesame seed oil conditioner and it helps to lock in hydration while also taming any unruly split ends you may have. Just follow these simple directions and prepare to have the healthy and gorgeous hair you've been longing for! Rub a small amount of organic sesame or olive seed oil onto any broken hair or split ends. Cover hair with a plastic bag or shower cap and leave on for at least 45 minutes. If at all possible, leave on your hair overnight. Shampoo hair as usual and be sure to rinse well.

Pack In The Oil

Your hair is made up of proteins, so it only makes sense to be sure you are getting enough proteins in your diet Without proteins your hair struggles to grow. So try these protein packed ideas! Eggs for breakfast, a tuna salad for lunch, and a steak for dinner. Beans, lentils, and soy are also protein packed options, with soy being proven to strengthen hair and promote it's growth. What's not to love? Amazing food for an amazing hair result! That sounds like a winning combo! Plus, it will help your body in many other ways as well.

Get Plenty Of Sleep

One of the most underestimated ways to take care of your hair is to get plenty of sleep. Our bodies need a good 7 to 8 hours of rest so that it can work its restorative magic. During sleep our bodies recharge, and in the process start rebuilding and fortifying muscles, bones, skin, and hair. When you don't get enough rest it makes it harder for your body to do all of these mandatory functions. Be sure to get in bed at a decent hour every night. Your hair and your body will thank you!

With these 5 tips your hair can be absolutely fabulous! They're cheap and extremely easy methods, that are actually proven to work. So, go get that beautiful and healthy hair you've always wanted, just don't forget to take this cheat sheet with you.
