Take a look at every reason why your dentist should be at the top of your priority list.

When you have healthy teeth, you'll chew your food at a normal rate. The molars will grind the food down so that swallowing and digesting can take place with little effort. If you have poor oral health, however, you're more inclined to swallow larger pieces to avoid any pain. Your stomach and intestines aren't designed for this type of processing, however. As a result, you might have both oral and digestive problems.

Several diseases, including cancer, have symptoms that can manifest in the mouth. If you neglect your oral health, it's possible to overlook this serious disease too. Your dentist can tell you if a brushing or flossing problem is involved. When you take care of your teeth but there's still health problems, you can see your general practitioner about further tests. Locating any disease early on is usually a good sign that you can successfully defeat it.
Bad Breath Problems
Whether you're a salesperson or a stay-at-home mom, oral health is important for every person because of social situations. Poor oral health inevitably leads to bad breath.
