Hundreds of complementary and alternative medicine providers to gather at the American Association of Integrative Medicine 2010 conference on September 22-24 in Orlando.
February 8, 2010, Springfield, MO - The American Association of Integrative Medicine (http://www.aaimedicine.com/), the medical society for the 21st century, today announced the release of the agenda for their 8th annual 2010 conference, which is being held September 22-24 in Orlando, Florida.
The premiere event for healthcare professionals, the American Association of Integrative Medicine's (AAIM) 2010 conference will be held in conjunction with its sister organizations--the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), the American Psychotherapy Association (APA) and the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS). The event will feature keynotes from Cyril Wecht, MD, JD, CMI-V, CFP, a world-renowned forensic pathologist and legendary investigator, Henry Lee, PhD.
Wecht is an honorary Life Fellow and is on the Executive Advisory Board for ACFEI. He is a medical-legal and forensic science consultant, lecturer and author who has written and co-edited 44 books, including a five-volume set Forensic Sciences (Matthew Bender), and two 3-volume sets-Handling Soft Tissue Injury Cases and Preparing and Winning Medical-Negligence Cases. Throughout his career, he has performed and assisted on over 50,000 autopsies and has testified in more than 1,000 civil, criminal, and worker's compensation cases in more than 30 states.
Lee is an honorary Life Fellow of ACFEI. He has appeared numerous times on CourtTV and is a frequent guest on Larry King Live, CNN's Nancy Grace, Fox News and numerous other national television programs. He has served as editor of seven academic journals, and is the author of Dr. Henry Lee's Forensic Files, The Budapest Connection, Cracking Cases and Cracking More Cases. He has investigated over 6,000 major cases around the world and has testified in over 1,000 criminal and civil cases.
AAIM's 2010 conference is open to practitioners of all types of alternative medicine, as well as providers of complementary therapies and traditional medicine. More than 800, including holistic health practitioners and over 60 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to attend. The event will feature two days of exhibitors and workshops on topics such as Tai Chi, allopathic medicine, art therapy, cardiovascular disease prevention, alternative treatment for ADD/ADHD, natural holistic healing and complementary therapies.
