Lilium Convallium is a herb known as Lily of the Valley

This herb has also been called Male Lily and Lily Confancy.  The root is small and creeps firmly in the ground similar to grass roots, often grown in gardens for its attractive scent from the flowers, which are an attractive bowl-shaped flower very nice for use in displays and even used at weddings.  Lily of the Valley grows a beautiful red berry very similar to the red berries grown in Asparagus Fern, a small bright berry of scarlet color.

A decoction of the flowers has been successful in removing obstructions in the urinary canal, you would need to get the advice of a qualified herbalist to know exactly how to make and use such a remedy. There are a number of good remedies using this herb that can be helpful in reducing headaches and earache; mixing the leaves with an appropriate measure of drop of the essential oil Marjoram has been known to strengthen the spine.

Distilled water dropped into the eyes have said to be helpful in reducing inflammation, there are some other herbal remedies that can be made from the use of this herb that have been used in restoring speech, assisting in palsy and controlling or reducing apoplexy, but in all such uses of herbal remedies, best consultation will always be with an experienced herbalist as recommended.
