Make Acne Disappear

Acne is often related to puberty but anyone can be plagued with acne; newborns can develop baby acne and many adults live the majority of their lives fighting acne. Acne can have lasting effects on a person's life; it can destroy self confidence, it can leave physical scaring to the skin and it itches and hurts.

Genetics play a role in whether or not acne will be a constant companion but there are numerous steps of action that can be taken to reduce the stress and discomfort associated with acne. Keep hands away from the face. Imagine the face is a beautiful white wedding dress; if a dress is handled constantly the dress will lose its bright white and eventually start to look discolored and dirty. A person's face will react the same, constant touching and prodding of the face will lead to more dirt entering the pores creating larger spots and areas or acne.

Wash hands frequently. Wash pillows and face towels frequently as the oils and debris from the face collect on those surfaces and if they are not washed they will return to the skin.

Time and time again water is promoted an easy way to improve health and acne is no exception to the rule. By drinking 8 glasses of water daily skin will be healthy, retain more moisture, retain its elasticity and have a glow of youthfulness.

Resist popping or poking pimples; as ugly and irritating a pimple or spot can be to feel and look at popping it will only open it up and attract more dirt.

Remove make-up. Make-up might cover up acne and offer an immediate relief from the sight of acne but in the long run make-up just adds more dirt to skin. Get into the habit of always removing make-up. Use make-up that is made of organic ingredients to reduce the amount of chemicals exposed to the skin.

There are hundreds of acne products available but many are loaded with harmful chemicals. Read the labels before using an acne product.

Acne can disappear if the right steps are taken.
