What is AcroSage Massage Therapy

This type of massage therapy, which is a combination of massage, yoga and acrobatics was created and developed by Benjamin Marantz , who was a professional acrobat and circus performer.  After Benjamin Marantz  had himself suffered a back injury, he discovered that when he hung in an upside down frog pose position, certain healing pressure points were activated on his face. He later tested this technique on other circus performers who enjoyed the same benefits.  Marantz trademarked the techniques and started teaching others his developed techniques.

The client is placed in an inverted pose atop the AcroSager's feet, with the head hanging freely. With no pressure on the neck or spine, the client's upper body can be easily massaged as he or she is held upside down by the therapist's feet as the therapist massages pressure points on the face and body, this style of massage therapy combines principles of shiatsu and acupressure with yoga.

By this method of massage therapy the AcroSage Massage Therapist can reach the most difficult of tissues and muscles which are otherwise hard to be massaged, this helps in improving the flexibility of a person and increases their levels of stamina and endurance to a large extent.
