60% of the human body is comprised of water. Water is essential to the health and functionality of the human body. In the western world water flows freely into peoples homes and is clean; what a blessing! With water at the turn of a tap there is no legitimate reason why people should not be consuming sufficient amounts of water.

There are many reasons to support the powerful benefits of drinking water.

  • As over half of the body is comprised of water, drinking water significantly helps maintain the balance of bodily fluids.
  • Having sufficient water within the body can reduce headaches.
  • Water improves the health of skin. Water helps keep skin looking young and youthful by encouraging elasticity, tone and color.
  • Water is almost always the answer to afternoon fatigue. When 3pm rolls around reach for a glass of cool water and feel the level of energy rise.
  • Water improves the functionality of multiple systems and organs within the body but specifically the digestive system, kidneys and muscles benefit largely.
  • The muscles need water to function. Dehydration can reduce the performance of muscles because of the lack of electrolytes, water can reverse this effect.
  • Water can help reduce the amount of calories that are consumed. By drinking water in place of a calorie beverage or choosing foods that have a high water volume can be an effective way to reduce calories and loose or maintain a certain weight.
  • Water is excellent at flushing out the toxins and wastes that are harmful to the body.
  • For people that suffer with joint pain water can help reduce that pain.
  • Water is a primary mode of transportation within the bounds of the body; its properties enable it to carry nutrients around the body.
  • Water is intrinsic to the bodies' ability to properly circulate blood flow.

 

Water is a gift. It is designed to be in the human body, drink it often. Allow water to be a part of everyday activities and enjoy greater health because of it!
